The Skin And Bones Music Series kicks off its 10 year anniversary season with NPNP and Jairus Shafir, with special guest Theresa Bishop!
Montreal based NPNP (aka Jackson Darby) is a multi-media artist and composer with a penchant for abstract forms realized through modular synth explorations and advanced recording techniques. Joining NPNP will be Calgary based Jairus Sharif, a self-taught multi-instrumentalist who uses sound collage and live looping that forge connections between free jazz, mysticism, blues, and hip-hop. Kelowna's own Theresa Bishop, formerly of Meteor Tree, will be kicking off the night with a performance equal parts song and soundscape.
