James Masz

James Masz is an interdisciplinary new media-based artist & musician who currently resides in Kelowna. Alumni of UBC Okanagan's Fine Arts Program in Visual Arts, James works primarily with appropriation, animation, public art, film/video and offbeat processes. James embraces free software not only as a practical but real concept in his life. The spirit of sharing, the breaking of traditional concepts with ownership and fair use, as well as an anarchistic/DIY approach to his artworks.
