Eligibility is open to all developing LGBTQ artists and allies.
Artists can respond to the Pride Flag in general or to one of the colours that are used in the flag. (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, or Violet)
Artists may submit more than one (1) image for consideration, but must submit each work independently with a separate Application Form.
All mediums of work will be considered, including, but not limited to illustration, design, painting, photography, or collage.
All applications must include the following:
-Artist Bio (300 words or less);
-One (1) .jpg of the work considered. (Dimensions must be 12” h x 8” w, and max 300 dpi. (Submissions that do not match these dimensions will not be considered.)
In submitting artwork, artists give the Alternator permission to reproduce images that are selected for Spectrum for reproduction and promotion of the exhibition in print and digital formats, and for general gallery promotions, grant applications and for use on social media.
Submissions must be sent via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include ‘Pride 2017’ in the subject line. (Confirmation of your submission will be sent within 24 hours. If you do not receive confirmation, please resend.)
